Track shipments

A held parcel or a missed delivery shows on its order before the customer writes in to ask.

Who it’s for
Order-management software whose customers ship with several carriers, each tracked on its own site.
Why it’s hard
One carrier says “Held” where another says “Exception”, and both can mean a parcel waiting at a depot. Ridgeline shows proof of delivery only to a signed-in business account.
You get back
  • Proof of delivery, as a PDF on each delivered order
  • Held parcels and failed deliveries, flagged on the order
How it runs, in your product’s code

Each morning, a computer enters the open tracking numbers on each carrier’s site. The order gets a plain status and date, with the carrier’s own wording beside it. For Ridgeline’s proof of delivery, someone on your customer’s team signs in to the business account. A held parcel is flagged with the driver’s note.
