Track competitors weekly
Every Monday, your users read what each competitor changed on its pricing page and in its release notes.
- Who it’s for
- Competitive-intelligence software whose users hear about a rival’s new plan weeks late, from a customer.
- Why it’s hard
- A change only shows if you know what the page said last week, line by line. Features are retired as quietly as they launch, so a line that disappears matters as much as a new one.
- You get back
-
- This week’s report, as a Word document
- Each change beside what the page said before
How it runs, in your product’s code
Each Monday the computer opens every competitor’s pricing page and release notes beside last week’s report. It notes every difference, down to Ashlow retiring its legacy dashboards. Ashlow also has a page for a usage-based plan that wasn’t there last week, so the product marketer is asked whether to track it.
