Cookbook 05: Your users stay in control

The AI does the errand up to the line you set, and the person does the last step.

Cookbook 05: Your users stay in control

You decide where the AI stops. This program opens a one-page NDA waiting in DocuSign and says, in plain words, to leave the signature to the user.

The AI signs in, finds the agreement, fills every blank and stops at the signature line. The program tells the person, they take the controls in the live view, and they sign.

Ruby
session  = computer.create_session(browser: true)
secrets = { "EMAIL" => ENV["DOCUSIGN_EMAIL"], "PASSWORD" => ENV["DOCUSIGN_PASSWORD"] }
session.agent.run(<<~GOAL, secrets: secrets)
  Sign in to DocuSign as $EMAIL with $PASSWORD.
  Open the NDA that needs to be signed and fill in every field.

  Leave the signature to the user.
GOAL
follow(session) # the run stops; your code has it back

session.notify_human(reason: "signature") # your app texts or calls the user
puts "Ready to sign. Handing over."
gets # and waits while they sign

notify_human is where your app reaches the person. The live view in your product hands them the screen and takes it back. More in the developer docs.
