# Pine Computer > A cloud computer with AI built in. Hand it a job, and get the finished work back. Pine Computer is a cloud computer built for AI, made by Pine AI. Developers give it a job through an API; it works across a browser, a shell and files, a person can watch it and take the controls, and the finished work comes back. It is in private beta. Pine Computer (pinecomputer.io) is unrelated to PINE64 and its single-board computers. On X it is @pine_computer (https://x.com/pine_computer). It is invite-only while in beta. What it does: - A cloud computer for AI agents, made on demand through an API - A browser, a shell and files on each computer - Pine's built-in agent, or your own agent through the SDK - A live view in your product, where a person can watch and take the controls - Sign-ins saved per computer, so it stays signed in between jobs - As many computers as the work needs, side by side - Runs from the region the job needs - Each computer sealed off on its own; your keys stay on your server ## Developers - [Developer docs](https://console.pinecomputer.io/docs): the SDK, the API and getting started. - [Overview](https://console.pinecomputer.io/docs/overview): A cloud computer for AI agents, with a browser, a shell, files and a desktop a person can take over. - [Getting started](https://console.pinecomputer.io/docs/getting-started): The first steps from your code to a running computer. - [How a computer works](https://console.pinecomputer.io/docs/how-a-computer-works): One persistent computer, many sessions working on it, and credentials that stay on your server. - [Agent](https://console.pinecomputer.io/docs/agent): Give Pine's agent a goal in a session, follow its events, steer it and answer its questions. - [Sessions](https://console.pinecomputer.io/docs/sessions): The unit of work on a computer, with its own browser window, shell and files, sharing the computer's sign-ins. - [Files and shell](https://console.pinecomputer.io/docs/files-and-shell): A session's working directory, the files you give the agent, the artifacts it produces, and its shell. - [Persistence](https://console.pinecomputer.io/docs/persistence): What a computer saves, what it restores, and which files your application must keep. - [Web SDK](https://console.pinecomputer.io/docs/web-sdk): Embed a computer's desktop in your web app, let a person take control, and handle reconnects. - [Integration](https://console.pinecomputer.io/docs/integration): Install the SDKs, set up credentials, and run Pine Computer from your backend and your web app. - [Skills](https://console.pinecomputer.io/docs/skills): Turn a workflow the agent completed, or one a person demonstrated, into a reviewed skill that later runs follow. - [Tokens and scopes](https://console.pinecomputer.io/docs/tokens): Which credentials stay on your server, and the one token a browser receives. ## Use cases - [All use cases](https://pinecomputer.io/use-cases/): what products and teams hand Pine Computer.
